What is the Rolling Thunder Wash Club?

The Rolling Thunder Wash Club has four different monthly plans (Express, Rumble & Burst, Lightning X3, Rolling Thunder) that give you unlimited washes per month for one low monthly fee. Wash any day of the week for less than $1 a day. Once you sign up, our pay station technology will recognize your license plate, open the gate, and get you Clean, Dry, and Shiny every time.

How do I sign up for the Rolling Thunder Wash Club?

You can sign up for our unlimited clubs online or speak with a team member directly at one of our locations.

What is the maximum number of times I can wash my vehicle per month as an "Unlimited Member"?

Unlimited Members can wash their vehicles once a day, every day.

Do each of my vehicles need its own membership?

Yes, each vehicle needs its own membership. Multiple vehicles can be under the same credit card and account.

When will I be billed for my membership?

You will be billed on your anniversary date of your membership every month.

I have a new credit/debit card; how do I update my account?

It’s EASY! You can go online under “Manage My Membership” to update your account or stop by, and we’ll do it for you. For your security, we do not take this information over the phone, email, or text.

What happens if I get a new license plate or a new car?

You can change your license plate information online under “Manage My Membership” or stop at one of our locations, and a team member will be happy to make the change for you.

Can I use a Gift card towards my monthly membership?

No. Unlimited monthly memberships require a credit card on file.

How do I cancel my plan?

Hopefully, “goodbye” isn’t forever. You can cancel your membership online or at one of our locations. All cancellations must be made 3 days before your next billing date.

What happens when I cancel my unlimited plan?

You will no longer be billed for your membership when you cancel. You may at any time sign up for one of our UNLIMITED plans.

Can I use the vacuums without getting a wash?

Unfortunately, no. You must wash first.

For your convenience, we only accept Credit and Debit Cards.

No CASH. Do not use Apple Pay or Google Pay to sign up for our Unlimited Club memberships as their security prevents ongoing monthly billing for membership.

What is the height limit for vehicles?

The height limit for vehicles is 84 inches.

Do you wash duallys?

Unfortunately, we cannot wash duallys due to our belt configuration.

Are electric cars safe in your tunnel?

It is safe for electric cars to wash in our tunnels. Unfortunately, we cannot wash Tesla Cyber trucks.

Are there vehicles you don’t recommend washing?

Saying YES to any vehicle isn’t really the best idea. Our wash is designed for your everyday car, truck, and SUV. Vehicles with trailer hitches, debris/equipment in truck beds, utility trucks with attachments, after-market parts, bike racks, rust, age, etc., cannot be accommodated. We do not recommend washing older or antique vehicles due to the potential for damage. If in doubt about your vehicle, stop by and speak with one of our team members before washing. Max height is 84 inches.

Why do we check truck beds?

Life can sometimes be busy, and it’s easy to forget what was placed in your truck bed (e.g., tools, mats, garbage, etc.). We check your truck bed to make sure nothing could potentially damage our wash, your vehicle, and other vehicles.

Why do you prep certain vehicles and not others?

Our team looks at each vehicle and assesses what, if any, prep might be required. We look for loose debris, lite mud, bugs, snow, etc., and will prep or not prep depending on the current condition of the vehicle.

Do I stay inside my vehicle?

Yes, please remain in your vehicle throughout the wash process. Slowly enter the wash and ease it into Neutral when instructed. Keep your foot off the brake and hands off the steering wheel. Enjoy the ride and say “goodbye” to squeezing your tires between the rails!

Will my vehicle get scratched during the wash process?

Rolling Thunder Express only uses the best materials and equipment in our tunnel. Neoglide is an industry-leading material that inhibits water and dirt absorption, preventing buildup of paint-harming debris. Our curtains are made of non-looped, non-absorbent backed polyester fabric that cannot retain debris. All fabric is consistently rinsed with every wash.

What is the fingernail rule?

If a fingernail is required to scrape off the debris, our brushes won’t remove it completely on the first wash. The more you visit, the better the results will be. Go UNLIMITED! Sign up today!

Do you offer any interior services?

We are an exterior-only service; however, we do have free vacuums, mat cleaners, towels, and glass spray bottles on site for your complimentary use.

How do our Mat washers work?

It’s EASY… All mats must be flat (carpet or rubber). No WeatherTech mats.

Push the “start” button.

Feed the mat face down evenly into the mat washer.

When finished, your mat will drop to the bottom rack.

Remember, wash one mat at a time for best results.

How do you read my license plate?

Say goodbye to RFID stickers. Our LPR camera instantly reads every plate that completes a transaction. Remember, this only works if there’s a clean, unobstructed view of your plate. Large frames that cover parts of some characters, scratches or fading, excessive snow, dirt, mud, and plate covers will slow down the process.

Tell me about your in-tunnel light shows?

Various lighting effects are used. Visitors who may suffer from epilepsy or other visual stimulation sensitivities are advised not to enter the tunnel. If you choose to enter, you do so at your own risk. Rolling Thunder Express is not responsible for any related damage, injury, or death.

Do you close on inclement weather days?

Ultimately safety comes first: customer safety, team member safety, and operational safety are paramount. Rolling Thunder Express reserves the right to close the facility when circumstances warrant. Extreme cold, ice, or snow on our lot may require closure until safe conditions return.

What is Graphene? What does it do?

Graphene is a miracle material known as the lightest, strongest, and thinnest material. Combined with our Ceramic X3, Graphene provides a wet, glossy look, enhances reflectivity, reduces water spots, and offers corrosion and UV resistance.

Why do you use self-serve pay stations?

Our self-serve pay stations offer a “no-pressure” purchasing experience. We offer Unlimited Plans, Gift Cards, and Wash Books for purchase. Need help? Our team is happy to assist you.

What holidays are you closed?

Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Eve/Day, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year’s Eve/Day – CLOSED.

Why do you close periodically?

We close periodically to perform preventative maintenance procedures or emergency repairs to ensure safety and provide you with a Clean, Dry, and Shiny vehicle.
